This Open Portfolio will provide the opportunity to view the wide range of limited edition prints- including linocut, collagraph, Japanese woodblock, lithograph, etching, and screenprint -produced by Indigenous printmakers working with the Yirrkala Print Space at the Buku Larrnggay Mulka Centre, Yirrkala.

Examples of works created since the print space inception in 1996 until the present, by both established and award winning artists, as well as the young and emerging artists, will be on display. Printmaker, Alicia Scobie, who has been working on a voluntary basis at the print space, will be presenting the Open Portfolio with Denise Salvestro. Alicia most recently worked with the young artists from the community, on the ‘Young Ones’ project to produce a series of photographic linocut self-portraits, several of which will be on show.
